Project of the Day: Collapsible Storage Basket

The instructions for today’s project refer to it as a nursery basket but I think it can work for just general storage purposes as well. I think fabric storage boxes are a great way to keep things out of the way and at the same time help add a little pop to the room. This tutorial shows you how you can make your very own version of it, which is great since I can never find ones in the bright colours I want. The tutorial is fairly straight forward with lots of diagrams and pictures to make sure it turns out right. Here’s the link to the tutorial: Stylish Storage Basket.

Sewing machine
Fabric for outer box covering (Fabric A) – ½ yard of 45″ wide fabric PER BOX
